Product Description

Jesmonite AC730 is a rapid setting acrylic modified cementitious composite. It is specifically designed for glass reinforced decorative structures and can also be used for small castings. This material is shrinkage compensated and has low permeability, making it durable in all weather conditions, including water features.

One of the key advantages of Jesmonite AC730 is its reduced free-lime content and low alkalinity, which significantly reduces efflorescence compared to ordinary Portland cement systems. The material contains a fine decorative aggregate and powder pigments, carefully controlled to give a consistent decorative surface finish after treatment with a proprietary brick cleaner or acid etch.

AC730 is available in several stone finishes, including Natural Stone, Bath Stone, Yellow Sand Stone, White Marble, Portland Stone, Silver Grey Granite, Marigold, Cotswold Honey, Charcoal, Old Terracotta, and Brick Red.

Application Areas

Jesmonite AC730 is perfect for glass reinforced decorative architectural mouldings and small castings. It can be used with glass reinforcements such as Jesmonite Quadaxial fabric or 13mm Glass Chopped Strands to create lightweight, high-impact panels. Additionally, it is suitable for creating garden ornaments, statuary, and water features.
